Unclaimed Capital Credits

We have lost touch with the following past members. A capital credit refund check was returned to us for lack of a current address or simply went uncashed. This list includes refund checks issued in 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2016. These were issued for capital credits earned between 1990-1997.

If you know someone on this list, please have them contact our office. Due to Red Flag regulations to prevent identity theft, a change of address affidavit will need to be completed to reissue the check to a new address.

Capital Credits

Capital credits are the profits – called margins by cooperatives – that are left over from revenues after all operating expenses are deducted. Margins, along with borrowed funds, are used to finance capital improvements, such as electrical lines, poles, transformers, substations, etc.
