Drop Boxes Removal

The drop boxes at TJ's Convenience Store and Pump N Stuff West will be removed June 30. We understand that this will be an inconvenience to many of our members that live in the lake area but we feel that it is no longer safe and cost effective to have employees drive down there and pick up cash and other payments on a daily basis.

We offer so many other ways to pay:

Mail: Send payment to: Bon Homme Yankton Electric, PO Box 158, Tabor, SD  57063

In Person: Stop in the main office at 134 S Lidice St, Tabor, SD  57063

SmartHub Enhancements

You may now pay for your wiring department invoices online using your SmartHub login or the PayNow button using the website or mobile app.

When using your SmartHub login, each invoice from the "store" will be listed as a separate item below your electric account(s).

Be smart! Don't get scammed!

Computer scam going around! If you get a call from anyone wanting to fix your computer, just hang up. These scammers are using bad language, will take over and crash your computer, ask for your personal information and we just heard that one such scammer used our 800 phone number. Please be wary of all of these types of scams trying to get your private information. Don't be a victim of idenitity or financial theft!

Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Score Above the Rest

On May 11, the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) announced, “Energy utilities face serious challenges as customer satisfaction drops 3.2 percent.”

With an ACSI score of 71.9 on a scale of 0 to 100, the energy utilities sector dropped again for the third straight year. On a positive note that speaks to the cooperative difference and value of membership, Touchstone Energy Cooperatives remain the highest rated utility group.

Bill Pay vs. ACH

We've been receiving several calls regarding the Bill Pay article in this month's bill stuffer. This is only in regards to people who use their bank or another entity to pay their bills online. This does NOT affect members who are currently signed up for automatic payments from checking/savings account or recurring credit cards. These programs will not change.
